Miss Foxglove
Anna Milloy originally studied Biochemistry but had a radical change of direction and trained as a footwear and accessories designer at
Cordwainers College, London, now part of London College of Fashion.
She gained many practical skills such as pattern cutting and leather working and had the opportunity to work for Jimmy Choo in his Couture boutique whilst still a student. She also worked for Liberty whilst studying.
After graduation Anna became a designer and product developer at a large Birmingham company manufacturing Orthopaedic footwear. This gave her valuable industry experience and developed her technical skills further.
She had the opportunity to start her own business nearly 5 years ago, named ‘Miss Foxglove’ with the aim of producing unusual and interesting accessories. Anna was determined to use her practical skills to set up as a small scale manufacturer rather than outsourcing overseas.
Miss Foxglove uses English sheepskin from Somerset, which carries the traditional values of quality and comfort associated with sheepskin. It is then worked with a contemporary use of colour and surface decoration to make new and unusual products.
The Miss Foxglove range has developed over the last 2 years from the core product of bags, to include baby shoes, and has now expanded into hats, scarves and slippers.
This Autumn sees the launch of menswear for the first time, and a home range is due to come next.
Miss Foxglove works from home, cutting and stitching on an industrial
‘post’ machine. She is delighted to be able to say that her products are all handmade in England.

Meninafeliz
Meninafeliz is a collaboration between Scottish & Dutch designer/makers
Bebe Bradley & Anne-Marie Vanner.
Passionate about cloth, colour, print, buttons and beads, they design and
lovingly hand make a range of gorgeous accessories. Working from their
studios in Dorset, they each contribute their own unique & individual style
and hand make every item in very limited quantities.
They believe strongly in the recycling ethic, so use vintage and reclaimed
fabrics wherever possible and take great pleasure and pride in sourcing
materials from other small businesses
